We have worked in collaboration with Samsung to ensure that Exercise Timer works great on the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 5. The new version of Exercise Timer is now tested and optimised for Samsung Galaxy Watch 5.
New Heart Rate Feature!
To ensure that Exercise Timer makes use of the latest features on the Galaxy Watch 5, we introduced Heart Rate Logging. If enabled, Exercise Timer will show your heart rate and keep it logged in your workout log.

Hey Melvin,
I just wanted to say thanks so much for creating such an amazing app I have used it for years and nothing else comes close to this app. I’m loving the new integration with the Samsung Galaxy watch 5 aswell. I did however have a quick question on this. Do you plan to share fitness data for example calories with Samsung health soon/in the near future?
Really appreciate all the amazing work you have been doing to keep this app as great as it is.

Everything is wiring great on my Galaxy Watch 5 but there isn’t any sound. No voice prompts, whistles or beeps.

Exercise timer does not have any sound on my Galaxy 5 watch. It only vibrates. How can I get it to buzz or beep?
Hi Debbie, I’m afraid sound is not yet possible on Android Watches. However, it is something which we are working on and will be added soon.
That is great news! I have a crucial thing to add. Do you think you would be able to add a lap counter to the watch screen? It is essential if you do a training with more repetitive exercises.
